Operative Clause 練習 - Refugee Crisis

各位的作業就是Operative Clause *1

以小組為單位，每一組繳交一項

期末會有一場社內小模聯，請大家到時候要做好準備

現在只是練習而已，讓大家熟悉一下

以第三組 R.O.C.K. 的為範例：(第三組的不用交作業摟)

1. Organizing some civil body and levying volunteers who can teach refugees skills and train them; they can become human resources of industry; the funds would be from doing fundraising and tax;

當然第一個錯誤就是開頭的Organizing，應該要用原形動詞Organize表示(記得畫底線)

接著是句中有Organizing和 Levying兩個動詞的問題，通常一個clause只會有一個動詞，就是列在clause的最前端又畫了底線的Organize。若需要使用兩個以上的動詞，建議直接分成兩個clause，或者對clause內容作微幅修改(如下)。

1. Organizes certain civil body in ways such as but not limited to:

      a. levy volunteers capable of teaching refugee skills,

      b. Train refugees to become human resources of industry,

      c. Obtain funds with means such as but not limited to: 

            i. Fundraising,

            ii. Tax,

最後貼心小叮嚀：

盡量把每個clause以條列式呈現，然後少用第一、二、三人稱代名詞(I, you we ,they...)，以明確名詞替代較佳
